Geraldson Community Farm is a local organic farm in Northwest Bradenton. We are a CSA, which you can learn more about by clicking here. Currently, we have 180 members who purchased a share at the beginning of the season.
We are operated by Florida West Coast Resource Conservation & Development Council, which as a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. The RC&D contracted with Manatee County on January 23, 2007 to set up a community farm. The land was purchased by Manatee County from the Geraldson Family in 2005. We have kept their name to honor one of Manatee County's historic farming families. You can read more about the development of the farm here.
